Hello again,

An old woman gave me some insignia of the ANC. The wings with the cadeseus and a N on it but what dus the colors mean?
2 of them are black, 1 is white, 2 are brow , 1 red and also a golden N. A saw on this site that they highlight the sector. But what color means witch sector?

The colors have no special meaning, but are design variations which existed throughout World War II.

The "N" monogram letter was authorized in contrasting dark brown (sometimes almost black in appearance) or bronze coloration according to army regulation. The white "N" (a carryover dating from the 1920s) was worn as well, especially early in the war, but is an unauthorized variant. (See also "Women for Victory, Volume 1, p.203)
